hello! checking in with my insane soft spot for billy hargrove (the first stranger things character i ever picked up!) and offering some nonsense here instead of trying to throw stuff at you in random meme format. i can test out steve for you, if you'd like, and i've got a couple random crosscanon and oc things to throw that way, also, if you're interested in that!
Awww, ty! Yes, Billy is all things squishy and insane. Steve too. He's so lovely. Billy thinks so too but shhh, he doesn't want Steve to know that. Totally throw things at me! I'll take all the things with these two. I can write any canon. Do you want them established as a thing or work up to it?
ooh, hmm! i do like the starty-off thing with someone like steve, who is a stupid traumatized cinnamon roll compared to the wreck that is billy. my other dumb idea was a younger version of an oc of mine i can chuck into hawkins who is a super reserved, super religious little dude who has a significant abuse history in his own right, but is soft and frightened always, if you wanted something absurdly slowburn and long term.
They're both chaotic beans. I love them both. We could go with them already having a bit of history, super awkward And complicated and neither of them acknowledge that one drunken night. Haha.
yeah, i like that a lot! that works for me. i think adding that bit of history is fun for mixing stuff up.
sure! he's the son of a preacher, brought up in the church and has stayed that way because it's all he's ever known, pretty much. putting him in hawkins adds another weird, complicated layer to his nonsense because of the 80s timing, the small town stuff, etc. so i'm thinking something like his family dragged themselves out there in response to the end of s3, with the satanic panic really kicking off around that time in history and hawkins being looked at as a hotbed for it. i feel like, as soft as he is, he'll... probably end up viewing billy as a combination of both the coolest and the scariest person he's ever met in his whole entire life. but i also am just a sucker for the concept of billy with someone who doesn't just sleep with him right off the bat and... gets to know him for who he is as a human being even if nobody else really gets to.
i also forgot to tell you in detail about my stupid ghost oc.
but also, nah, it's all good! i already started doodling reference for him anyway hahahaha. and hm. i'm leaning toward two unless you wanna keep it in one for some fun nonsense!
